Have you received an email from "Sir. Eric Ben" at United Nation (Un) Debt Reconciliation Department, claiming
"The British Prime Minister In Conjunction With U.S.A Government, World Bank And United Nations Organization Do Hereby Give This Irrevocable Approval Order With This Release Code: Gnc/3480/02/08 In Your Favor For Your Contract Entitlement And Your Inheritance Fund Which You Have Not Received Yet, Now It Was Approved..."
and that you are owed money from a "contract / entitlement / award winning or inheritance payment file", whatever those may be, and he will send you the money, if you contact "Mr. Poppa Willis"? "Sir. Eric Ben." is a highly educated and highly ranking lawyer or government official who apparently can't spell, incorrectly spells "United Nations" (where he claims to work), and feels the odd need to put a period after his title and at the end of his name. He also likes to capitalize the first letter of almost every word.
We hope by now that this strikes you as an obvious scam. If not, please give all of your money away to charity (as you will soon lose it, anyway) while we point out the inconsistencies and show how the scam works.
How the scammer got your email address may be open to debate, But the fact that this is a scam is not! Also notice that the "lawyer" or official is writing to you from a free email account (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.); in fact, they typically use more than one different free email accounts.
