Scam Money Transfers
from Lawyers / Barristers
Example - Brodies LLP Law Firm
"Wealthy dead client's name: Engr.Miklos
Szótára"
Have you received an email from "Brodies LLP Law Firm", claiming
that he is an attorney for a dead wealthy man (Engr.Miklos
Szótára, in this case) who named YOU in his will? It's a mystery who
the dead guy is or why he named you, but you better reply pretty quickly or risk
losing millions from the "WILL". And for some reason, the word, Will,
appears in capital letters throughout the email. Along with a description of
what a great guy the dead man was... which is pretty strange in a business
letter from a law firm, isn't it? Also notice that the "lawyer" is writing to
you from a free email account (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)
If you are still salivating and eager to fill out the form, we
can assume you get scammed frequently, as this is simply another fraud to
separate you from your money (that is, whatever money you have left after being
scammed before).
