Miscellaneous Scam Money Transfers
Example - CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA,
Prof. Charles C. Soludo,
"I want to assure you that there is light at the end of the tunnel after all the disappointment and frustrations that you have gone through in the hands of the fraudsters and impostors."
Did you receive an email from "Prof. Charles C. Soludo" at "CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA" who
says
"I want to assure you that there is light at the end of the tunnel after all the disappointment and frustrations that you have gone through in the hands of the fraudsters and impostors.The good news is that you can still receive your contract payment if you do the right thing"
If that isn't a clue to you that a scam is about to happen, then
nothing will wake you up! The scammer will try to steal your identity and get you to send him money, but
the text of the scam is so odd, it's hard to imagine anyone falling for it. If
this email out-of-the-blue from an unknown foreigner offering to pay you absurd
amounts of money for almost no work doesn't strike you as a scam, then you
really need to read through a number of the scams on this website and
familiarize yourself with their approach.
Prof. Charles C. Soludo (not his or her real name, obviously;
that name is used in many similar scams: see
this page and this page. hopes to con you into sending money for various "fees" to free the fortune.

I want to assure you that there is light at the end
of the tunnel after all the disappointment and frustrations that you have
gone through in the hands of the fraudsters and impostors.The good news is
that you can still receive your contract payment if you do the right
thing.Please do not allow anybody to deceive and defraud you again.
I am the only person with the constitutional power
and authority to transfer your contract payment. Without my signature no
beneficiary will ever receive one cent from CBN. All the powers to transfer
any contract payment belongs to me and to no one else.There is only one
genuine CBN Governor and that is me and no other person.
The only way I can prove myself is to transfer your
funds into your account within 14 banking days that you have fulfilled CBN
transfer condition.You have suffered enough in the hands of the fraudsters
It is now time for you to see the light and receive your contract payment.
Stop listening to all the stupid,baseless and senseless stories from the
fraudsters as to the reasons why your contract payment is being delayed.
They are not telling you the truth. The plain truth
is that they do not have the power to effect your contract payment.

As a result of the on-going drive of the Federal
Government to update it books and clear payment to all
beneficiaries/contractors, I strongly recommend that you promptly respond
to this immediate contract payment notification and if you are receiving
this message on error, do humbly
