Scams from Widows and Orphans: Frank Smith Jr

Scam Money Transfers
Example -
Frank Smith Jr ,
"I seek your permission to present you to the security company in Ghana as my fathers foreign partner, so as to help us clear out this deposit from them as the beneficiary", "is "moved from the security company to out of the country""

Have you received an email from "Frank Smith Jr, a National of Somalia", who says "I seek your permission to present you to the security company in Ghana as my fathers foreign partner, so as to help us clear out this deposit from them as the beneficiary"? And what follows is a convoluted sob story of one misery after another, along with a healthy dose of gibberish, spelling errors, terrible gram, syntax and punctuation, not exactly befitting an extremely wealthy person. And now, poor bereaved "Frank Smith Jr ", needs YOUR help to ensure that the fortune is "moved from the security company to out of the country". Odd that they'd pick a total stranger, in a foreign country to trust their money to, don't you think? And we'll bet "Frank Smith" is a common name in Africa.  Right...

Of course, it is a scam. Don't reply to it.

Scam email from "Frank Smith Jr "

From: FRANK SMITH JR [ smithjrfrank1@yahoo.com ]

Dear Friend, As you read this letter i want you to digest it with humane heart, I am Frank Smith a National of Somalia, unfortunately one of the very few christians in this region before the outbreak of the war.

My father Mr.Dan Smith a diamond merchant in Liberia lost his life in his effort to come over to take us with him to Liberia where he considered to be a lot safer than home, unfortunately he didnt live to see his family anymore. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

We are a family of six but the war has reduced us to two in number, presently i'm left alone with my sick mother who is suffering from leukemia.

Before my father's untimely death he informed me of a box he deposited with a security company in Accra Ghana for safe keeping. This box contains all the money my father made from his diamond deals in Liberia, as he had planned on retiring and relocating with his family to europe.

For this reason i humbly seek your permission to present you to the security company in Ghana as my fathers foreign partner, so as to help us clear out this deposit from them as the beneficiary as we cannot do so with the present situation in my country. I have in my custody all the required documents to enable you accomplish this objective, i'll make all the neccessary documents available to you once you are willing to help me and my mother to conclude this objective.

I and my mother are ready to part with 40% of this sum for your involvement if you are ready to help us. We will also need you to help us secure all the needed documents to enable us come over to your country as soon as you receive the deposit and have the funds deposited into a safe account. I and look forward to your urgent reply concerning our above request,

May the good Lord continue to bless you in your various endeavour as you take your time to go through this email.

Thank you for your kindness and goodwill.

Regards,

Frank Smith Jr
