Example - Alice Sinko / Alice Diop - Diamond and Gold Mines
Have you received a letter from Alice Sinko, claiming, in
pathetically bad English, that she needs to give you millions of dollars from
her father's diamond and gold mine? It is a scam.
If you contact her, you'll find all you need to do, to
receive a huge cut of their immense wealth, is pay the taxes (or fee, or
transaction charge, or demurrage, or whatever other fee they can make up) to
release the money. And then they'll pay you the millions. Really!
Absolutely! Just wait by your mailbox.
If you are a moron, that is...
Just another scam. Here it is for your entertainment. One
of our site visitors kept emailing "Alice" just to waste the scammer's time and
see how they'd respond. Here are the emails back from the scammer.
First email from "Miss Alice Sinko"
dear I am writting this letter with due respect and
heartful of tears since we have not known or met ourselves previously. I am
asking for your assistance after I have gone through a profile that speaks good
of you. I will be so glad if you can allow and lead me to the right channel
towards your assistance to my situation now. I will make my proposal well known
if I am given the opportunity. I would like to use this opportunity to introduce
myself to you. well,
i am Alice sinko 20years old girl and I know that this proposal might be a
surprise to you but do consider it as an emmergency.In nutshell, My (late)
father Dr.Diop Sinko Diop ,was the managing Director of Rainbow Gold and Diamond
Mine company in (KENEMA) sierra-leone. But he was killed along side with my
mother during the longing civil war and all his properties was totally
destroyed. However, after their death I managed to escape with a very important
document (DEPOSIT CERTIFICATE (US$10.5m)Ten million Five hundred thousand U.S
Dollars deposited by my late father in A SECURITY AND FINANCE COMPANY)which i am
the next of kin. Meanwhile,i am saddled with the problem of securing a
trust worthy foriegn personality to help me transfer the money over to his
country and into his possession pending my arrival to meet with him.
Furthermore,you can contact the company for
confirmation and i will issue a letter of authorisation on your name,that will
enable the security company to deal with you on my behalf.I am giving you this
offers as mentioned with every confidence on your acceptance to assist me
or take me as your wife and manage the money.Conclusively,i wish you send me a

said inherited fund deposited in our escrow account. We have received the
original copy of Dr.Sinko Diop's Deposit Certificate in our transfer
department which has been confirmed to be correct and OK for the transfer.
It would be necessary to informed you that all dealings with you or your
nominated financial institution and our bank would be done under the
jurisdiction of the Senegalese Law and our Banking Policy. It would be
essential to note that as a financial intermediary, our obligation to
guarantee a total fulfilment of the Escrow conditions on the paying and
receiving parties cannot be over emphasized.
1. You are requested to go through this form attached bellow and fill it
with the necessary details required to process your transfer.
2. You should present an authority letter (Power of attorney) dully
issued by a Senegalese based lawyer signed by Miss Alice Diop your witness
mandating you to make this claims and transfer on her behalf.
3. You should present an Affidavit Of Oath from the Federal High Court in
Dakar Senegal, since the next of kin is residing in Senegal.
