What happens if you try to return the Bruce A. Berman "free" book and
definitely NOT-FREE cd's, using their online live agent website? Bruce A. Berman
and his stooges don't like to take no for an answer, even from the poor and
handicapped. Below is an actual letter we received January 27, 2007 that proves
this:
I realized today when I first saw the charge of $99.90 that I was a victim of
the Bruce Berman scam. I read your web site article too late. I have no speaking
voice due to failed surgery and I was looking for a way to earn money with just
a computer and no voice. The Berman "kit" was no help there and I don't see how
it could be of value to anyone.
To your knowledge, do I have any recourse? That is, do you know of ANYTHING I
can or should do beyond having someone make the phone call and trying to get the
price reduced? (By the way, do you know that "not toll free" number to talk to
the Indian-sounding woman? I can't find it on the web sites.) Also, if I take
more than thirty days to call -- which I did because I didn't realize I was
scammed until the big bank card debit was made -- am I forced to pay the full
amount?
