Can you figure out just who this scam lottery is supposed to be from? It's tough! The scammer has just mixed up every lottery term he could think of, calling it a lottery, a sweepstakes, a promotion and it is run by "Euro millions Lottery International", "the Slidecircuir award", the "Euro millions prizes", the Intel Group, Toshiba, Dell Computers, Microsoft and "other international companies" and the "Foundation for the Promotion of Software Products,(E.P.S.)". And no, we haven't figured out just how the scammer got "E.P.S." from that last one! Most likely, it is just because the scammer is a school dropout who is too stupid for anything but crime.
But don't mistake "stupid" for "not dangerous". They may be dumb, but they are violent criminals. Most of them are from central Africa, typically, Nigeria. Not exactly a peaceful part of the world. Don't reply to them or give them any information.
Below is yet another fake Euromillions lottery scam, this one using the popular scam name, "Mr. Patrick Janssens" and the newcomer, "Mrs. Debock Berghmans", supposedly, in Brussels, Belgium. There are many signs that this is a fraud, not the least of which is that no legitimate lottery uses email to notify its winners!
And a legitimate lottery certainly would not use free hotmail, yahoo, elitist, or aim email accounts.
Notice the gibberish writing, excessive/incorrect use of CAPITAL letters, lack of decent punctuation and other clues to an obvious fraud that we have highlighted in the letter; keep confidential, selected by a random computer lottery of email addresses, use of free email accounts rather than a domain and website that matches the lottery name, etc.
