Job and Recruiting Emails: Worldvoicenews.com

Have you received an email like the one below, claiming to be from

  • Morgan Corbin at Worldvoicenews.com
  • Lauren Piccoli or Lauren Piiccoli at World-Voice.org

  • James Elkin at World Voice News

  • Harold Collier at World Voice News

  • Brian Egelton at World Voice News

  • Mr. Alex Siman at USAVoice.org

  • TransferMoneyWorld.com

  • Robin at WorldMoneyTransfers.net

  • anyone else at Worldvoicenews.com or worldmoneytransfers.net

We're currently investigating these.  A visitor first reported it to us in early March 2007. This email and website looks very similar to other jobs scams, like eBandSearch.com, TooSpoiled.com and AdminSolutionsGroup.com

The Better Business Bureau says this about the company behind them:

Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to unanswered complaint(s). The Bureau has received multiple inquiries from the public and is contacting the firm about complaint correspondence as well. Consumers report being asked for personal information, including Social Security numbers, in order to set up an employment link with the firm. Further contact was not provided, however, and consumers report concerns that their information may be sold and mis-used.

CFR RECOMMENDS THAT YOU DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION UNTIL WE CAN CONFIRM MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THEM! Their goal appears to be to get referral fees by getting you to sign up for online colleges. DO NOT click on the links to "Click here to be removed from any future employment offers" .

Do you have a resume posted online? We'd like to hear from you about your experiences recruiting emails that turned out to be scams or misleading - click here to write us. We suspect these are possibly a new wave of identity theft attacks.

Also see this page for feedback from others who received these emails.
