British Airways has a lottery? This one is truly unbelievable.
If you really think that British Airways is going to operate a lottery, and send
out a winning notification, by email, filled with spelling mistakes and poor
grammar like this.. and using a free Yahoo email account... well, we suspect you
have a tough life ahead of you.
In addition to the usual clues, notice the terrible writing,
misspellings, and worse.
The sentences don't even make sense. Total nonsense like "a hard cover
insurance policy" and "we have to incure some initial expenses for an
international delivery" ought to be obvious clues that this is a scam.
This is hardly what a professional (i.e., real)
lottery would do, and British Airways is not in the lottery business, anyway! Note the other clues to an obvious fraud that we
have highlighted in the
letter; keep confidential, selected by a random computer lottery of email
addresses, use of free hotmail/yahoo email accounts, etc.

But make no mistake, this is a fraud! The REAL British Airways website's domain
is http://www.britishairways.com/
not
http://nukls-online.com/
Common signs that it is a scam:
-
The recipient "won" without buying a ticket (so where does the
money come from?)
-
"For security reasons" you're not allowed to talk to anyone
about it (especially the police or consumerfraudreporting.org!) - which ought to
be odd since lotteries thrive on publicity!
