Hey I just wanted to let you guys know that when I tried to return the CD's they ended up refunding me completely and told me to keep the CD's. I let them know that I was a single mother of 3 children and was looking for a way to make money NOT SPEND IT. I also told them that I wrote a letter to all the major news stations and would contact all the major newspapers across the country. I told them that I don't think that the public will like to hear that this "multi-millionaire" was making his money by taking advantage of those less fortunate. That is when they told me to just keep the CD's and they issued a refund.

I also wanted to let you guys know that you are doing great work. There are so many people getting rich off of the hopes and dreams of others. If I had not seen your website a few months ago they would have gotten away with my money.

After seeing the Bruce A Berman TV ad -- I duly sent off for $1.95 shipping fee for my FREE book etc.

Thereafter I looked him up further on the web where I found your web-site - Having read your site before receiving any goods of any kind from the Bruce A Berman set up -- I was on my guard.

When I saw they were trying to debit my checking account for $99.90 I was on the phone to them immediately (still no goods of any kind received from them by the way)

After a lengthy and fairly heated at time conversations with a person announcing himself as Freddy Cooper - he agreed to reimburse my account.

I will keep you posted of any further developments

Kind regards and thank you for your web page

John

I want to thank you for the report. You were totally correct. Everything you warned about the return policy was correct. During the 15 minute conversation in trying to get the return code he kept dropping the price of the package. He only came down to $14.90 for me. A drop of $85.00.

Thank you for saving me the time and money on this scam!

"I too fell for the Bruce Berman scam. I am by nature a very cautious and suspicious person. If I can get scammed, then I know there are others out there who will get taken for the full ride.

One point of correction I would like to note. The phone number to call to return the Bruce Berman "Aggressive Wealth System" is (877)237-6265. That is a toll free number so it's their dime when you call. It pays to drag the call out as long as you possibly can. Tell 'em you need to think about it, and call back tomorrow.

I can't bring myself to be openly abusive or use profanity over the phone. But, please don't mistake that for a puritanical heart. I can work in profanity the way an artist would work in clay or paint. It's just not all that challenging to stoop to abuse. It's much more fun, in a devious way, to exercise my gray matter and "play" with the call center operators. Here are some suggestions.

If you're even slightly talented with your words and wit, adopt a persona when you call. The Reverend Jim Ignatowski (Taxi) or Colonel Nathan Jessep (A Few Good Men) are two good ones that come to mind. If not, then pretend you're drunk or high when you call. [Many of us don't have to pretend. We just have to remember.] Be blunt. Call 'em thieves, scammers, or con artists. Just repeat every 15-20 seconds, "It's a scam, and you know it. How do you live with yourself out there in Bangalore?" The call center operator had a distinct Indian accent with the name of Annie Smith, extension 4558.

I was taken for a $13.85 ride, but I know for every one of me there are 10 to 20 others who paid for the full $100 ride.

When you call, you'll get offered a price reduction from $99.90 to $24.90 rather quickly. I persisted. Got a reduction to $14.90. Kept at 'em. I told 'em you know you can discount it deeper than that. Finally they offered $9.90, and I took that.

As others have said, they coerce and threaten you when you ask to return the material. "You need to package it in a crush proof container and insure it for $100." Don't go the return route as you are likely to get stung for the full $100 ride when they claim, "The package was damaged and you opened it so we cannot resell it."

Take a $13.85 loss and walk away. Then go to the BBB and file a complaint on the Berman Group. http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportPage_Expository.aspx?CompanyID=13209187

Update! I filed a complaint with the BBB on the Berman Group. They refunded my $9.90 so I was only out $3.85. If you've been stung, go online and complain to the BBB. http://tinyurl.com/344abg Ken
